Almost ONE!!

Baby No. 3 will turn ONE 3 days from now. So yes, I'm going to have 2 toddlers and a big kid at home by then.  Life has been amazingly fast and the kids have grown up overnight.  It felt like yesterday when Korby just popped out!

And now he's turning ONE!  Korby is an easy baby.  Less fuss, less complaints, less tantrums, less crying spells.  The only thing that people my side of the family complain about is his habit of refusing to be put down or laid down on his cot, high chair or walker.  He wants to be carried around ALWAYS!  And of course he's heavy so there's no shortage of aching arms and shoulders.  He's starting to talk now and can now utter a few words but still not a pro when it comes to his walking skills.  He can now stand and balance his way around but is just too stubborn to take his first step.  I think he's getting there though, he just loves to crawl more than walk. Korby loves eating table foods more now but declines milk from a bottle.  He prefers the glass never mind if he's always soaked.  Korby is purely breastfed.  I don't know if I'll introduce him to toddler milk one of these days.  We'll just see.  I'm in the process now of choosing his toddler milk. But it looks like he's going to stay as a breastfed baby a little more. I kind of feel melodramatic with the weaning part just as I shed tears with every baby furniture, toy, crib and so on that's been put away or given away. It's craaazy!  Anyway, I hope his second year will be as fun as the first.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY KORBY!!

My Weekend Freebie: Speech Bubbles!

I finally got around my Photoshop scrapping tutorials and was able to go through them on my spare hours.  I think im finally getting the whole point. Haha. I'm now working on my first digital kit.  A work in progress which I'm so into despite of my hectic schedules.  And I'm also getting serious hand cramps from all that designing. I don't have steady hands and sometimes things get a little wobbly. Thankfully, there are ready shapes in PS for convenience. Last night, I made speech bubbles that can be used for digital scrapbooking.  I made them all in a span of  30 minutes.  See, I'm getting better. Haha. And because sharing is love, I'm going to share. As always! Just click on the image, right-click and save to your hard drive.

Cupcakes Anyone?

Remember the times when you googled stuff and ended up finding other cute things?  Well, I googled some search term for another day to day blah but I came upon these plain cupcake illustrations from Designationz.  Cute but plain and well...FREE! So I decided to dress them up a little, some color here and there, and voila! that's what I call luscious!! I love giving plain stuff the added oomph!  It's like using Crayola when I was little only that it's much more techie now.

Flower Embellishments

For the weekend, I took my time cropping, shaping and painting my flower embellishments.  My 11 month old's itchy rash responded well to the antibacterial meds the doctor gave him so he wasn't throwing tantrums like the way he did the past week.  He was now sleeping soundly and I was able to squeeze a teeny amount of time in making flowers and choosing the right textures and patterns.  Here they are!

Free Blog Dividers

Here are some blog dividers that I made during my free time.  I decided to make a new divider for my blog so that I can fully customize it and ended up making 5 more!!  I know I couldn't use all of them in one go and so I'm sharing them. I made them all in blushing pink and added some of my favorite pink elements.  These are all 540 px wide.  If it's too wide, you can resize to make them smaller.  I just know I'm going to make a whole lot more in the coming days.  Making stuff for my blog is totally addicting and even better, I get to share.
